Ambassador Sirohey Presents his Credentials to President Issoufou Mahamadou of Niger republic
H.E. Ahmed Ali Sirohey Ambassador of Pakistan to the Republic of Niger presented his Credentials to His Excellency Mr. Issoufou Mahamadou, President of the Republic of niger in an impressive ceremony held at the Presidential Palace on 29 September 2020.
The Ambassador was escorted from the Embassy to the Presidential Palace by a motorcade. He was received by the Head of Protocol and the Commander of the Presidential guards.
During the ceremony and audience, the Ambassador presented his Letters of Credence to the President which accredited him as the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Niger. The Ambassador, on behalf of the President and the Prime Minister, conveyed best wishes to President IssoufouMahamadou, the Government and the people of Niger republic.
He also shared proposals relating to cooperation in educaion, health,Agriculture, Textile , pharmaceuticals and Irrigation sectors. The Ambassador expressed his desire to work for further strengthening relations between the two countries.
President warmly welcomed the Ambassador to the Presidential Palace. Appreciating friendly relations between Pakistan and Niger the President extended warm wishes to the President, Prime Minister and the people of Pakistan. He expressed his regrets tomiss 23 March nationaldaydue tocovid. He appreciated the proposed initiatives of the Ambassador and assured that he would ask his relevant Ministers to hold meetings with Ambassador to make an action plan to execute the proposals.
The Ambassador thanked the President for such warm welcome and presented a Pakistani carpet, which he greatly appreciated.
