Embassy of Pakistan in Niger donated 200 rice bags
The Ambassador Mr Ahmed Ali Sirohey donated 200 bags to the representative of the Ayorou town which was severely affected by the recent floods.
The minister commerce who hails from same town and the secretary to the central government requested for the assistance. The Ambassador assured them instant assistance and sent 200 sacs of rice.
The presentation ceremony was witnessed by the chief of town, representatives, Rotary clubs of Niamey and principal staff officer to the minister commerce.
At the ceremony the representative appreciated the proactive role of Pakistan embassy for the relief activities. He said that it’s only embassy that has shown solidarity with the people in distress. The Ambassador has visited several flood affected areas and distributed food packets, he said. The minister commerce Mr sado seydou also thanked the Ambassador Mr Ahmed Ali Sirohey and government of Pakistan on timely help to the flood affected communities of Niger republic. The Ambassador assured that Pakistan would keep it’s support continue for the brotherly people of Niger republic.
