As part of the Government of Pakistan’s ongoing international repatriation flights operation, four PIA special flights were operated from Jeddah region today. Flights PK 9760 and PK 9732 carrying 140 passengers each left Jeddah for Lahore while PK 9742 carrying 250 passengers left Jeddah for Islamabad. In addition, first PIA special flight from Madinah PK 9748 carried 250 passengers to Islamabad.
After the start of PIA special flights in KSA since 1st May 2020, a total of 24 such flights have so far been operated from Jeddah region taking home close to 5000 Pakistanis from the Western region of the Kingdom. Similar PIA special flights are also being operated from Riyadh region. These special flights are expected to continue till the resumption of normal commercial flights between the two countries.
With effect from 16th June, 2020 onwards, ticketing of these special flights are being handled directly by PIA and its authorised travel agents.
