H.E Mr Ahmed Ali Sirohey, Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Niger called on Minister of Health On February 22, 2021.
H.E was received in the cabinet of the Minister during which mutual agreements were discussed as Niger and Pakistan brotherly relationship is concerned. They have specifically discussed on health sector which is vulnerable. This sector needs immediate assistance in supplying materials and necessary equipment for Surgical operations.
H.E also reminded the Minister Pakistani team of ophthalmology coming to Niger for establishing camps for treatment of people affected by cataract and other eyes diseases in the poorest regions of Niger.
Agreements for establishing Pakistani clinic of Health were also discussed and Minister of Health assured H.E to issue the proposal so that immediate measures be taken to ensure the establishment of the building.
The Minister of Health signed the agreement and thanked The Embassy of Pakistan in Niger for its non stop dedication in helping Niger mostly in this Covid 19 pandemic era hitting thousands of families in the poorest regions of the country.
