India in a weak position after August 5 move: DG ISPR


RAWALPINDI (News10) – Director General (DG) of Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar has said that since August 5, 2019 move, India is in a weak position in the world.

Major General Babar Iftikhar, in an interview said that India is involved in terrorism and Pakistan’s dossier provided the evidence of this and now international community is openly discussing Indian sponsored terrorism.

He also revealed that India uses Afghan soil to launch attacks on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and also targets Chinese working on projects of the corridor through its terrorists. However, now Pakistan is fully prepared to thwart such attempts, he added.

DG ISPR said that a special division has been raised for the protection of CPEC projects and eight to nine regular regiments are also deployed to protect the economic corridor.

Major General Babar Ifikhar said that Chinese partners are fully satisfied of Pakistan’s security arrangements. He also vowed to thwart any Indian conspiracy against the project.
