Vigilance needed to thwart intentions of enemy: COAS


RAWALPINDI (News10) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that it is necessary to remain vigilant and steadfast to thwart the intentions of the enemy forces.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief said this during a meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong.

Expressing heartfelt sympathy to the Chinese government and bereaved families over the Dasu incident, the Army Chief said that the Pakistan Army values its relations with China. He assured full support and cooperation in the security of Chinese nationals working in Pakistan.

According to ISPR, the army chief said that we are working for peace. We need to be steadfast in order to thwart the intentions of the enemy forces. The two leaders agreed to work together for peace and stability in the region.
