As part of the Government of Pakistan’s ongoing international repatriation flight operation, three PIA special flights were operated from Jeddah today. PK 9860 and PK 9762 carrying 282 and 184 passengers respectively departed for Lahore while PK 9736 carrying 238 passengers left for Islamabad.
After the start of PIA special flights in KSA since 1st May 2020, a total of 27 such flights have so far been operated from Jeddah region taking home around 5700 Pakistanis from the Western region of the Kingdom. Similar PIA special flights are also being operated from Riyadh region. These special flights are expected to continue till the resumption of normal commercial flights between the two countries.
Tickets for these flights are being handled directly by PIA and its authorised travel agents since 16 June 2020.
