Pakistan Embassy started public diplomacy in the month of Ramadan and provided Iftar packages to different Masjid in Niamey. The first package was given to Masjid-e-Khadija run by a Pakistan-returned scholar Mr. Jibraeel in the locality of Niamey.

Mr. Ahmed Ali Sirohey Head of Mission to Republic of Niger personally handed the Iftar packets to the scholar and his students. They thanked Embassy of Pakistan and Government of Pakistan for offering packets to the downtrodden brothers in the month of Ramadan. Mr. Jabreel said that Embassy’s act is according to the tradition of Ramadan and Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him).

The HoM said that Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) always looked after people in the month of Ramadan more than the normal months and advised Muslims to be generous in the month of Ramadan. The Embassy is trying to reach out deserving people in the Month of Ramadan.
