PIA special flight brings back 141 passengers from Jeddah


PIA special flight PK-9742 carrying 141 passengers left Jeddah for Peshawar today at 1330 hrs. Press Consul Arshad Munir was present at Jeddah International Airport to bid farewell to the passengers, on behalf of the Consul General.

After the suspension of routine international commercial flights due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the Government of Pakistan started special PIA flights operation to repatriate stranded Pakistanis from different countries including KSA.

This was the nineteenth PIA special flight from Jeddah since May 2020. More than 3,650 Pakistanis have so far been repatriated from the Western region of the Kingdom through these special flights.
